Olympia Maximatic 1991. A Classic!
The Olympia Maximatic offers exceptional convenience in a compact form. This electric semi-automatic espresso machine, featuring a vibration-damped pump, is small enough to nearly fit on an A4 sheet thanks to custom-built components—making it the world’s smallest dual-boiler espresso machine. Its simple design ensures ease of use, ideal for offices, studios, and professional spaces.
The Maximatic has two water reservoirs: a 2.4-liter fresh water tank (refillable during operation) and an 0.75-liter boiler. Water passes through a heat exchanger in the boiler, where it is heated above 100°C to achieve the ideal brewing temperature of 92°C at the brew head. The same heater also provides hot water and steam for milk frothing.
Build in 1991, this Olympia Maximatic was originally an 110v machine. It is now fully restored to 220v with a new 1000Watt heating resistance, pump, valve, electrical circuit and powdercoated body. All seals and gaskets new. Original fully functional pressostat. Exceptionally good looking inox and chrome parts.
